Other Programs

Arriba Juntos provides a comprehensive array of tools for youth and adults by integrating intensive customized case management, supportive services, word readiness, life skills/soft skills component, vocational/occupational training, job placement activities, and job retention services. These wraparound networks of services are geared to prepare our clients into a smooth transition to sustain economic self-sufficiency.

 

 

 

The HomeWORC (Homeless People Working for Opportunity, Resource, and Change) - This is an employment and training program for homeless and formerly homeless front-line staff and volunteers working on the homeless services industry that provides them with the skills and knowledge to advance into higher-level and better paying positions. The program provides a course curriculum as well as customized case management, job placement, and career advancement services and supportive services throughout the program.

 

 

Our Complementary Services consist of The Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Class and the The Adult Basic Education (ABE) Skills Training. The LEP class incorporates a comprehensive approach to learning English combined with job readiness and placements services. The ABE training provides real world adult education and experiences within an adult independent learning practicum. Students develop literacy and numeracy thru life base scenarios and are encouraged to attain their GED in the process.
