The Home Care training course prepares students to become caregivers and provide support to elders or incapacitated individuals with activities of daily living needs in their own homes.
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training is designed to prepare students to provide health services to long-term care patients. It incorporates industry specific training, hands-on clinical experience, work readiness and soft skills instruction. At the successful completion, graduates are eligible to take the State certification exam on site.
The Home Health Aide (HHA) training runs in conjuction with the CNA program and prepares participants to provide personal assistance services to frail seniors as well as disabled adults, in order to maintain their health and allow them to remain living at home. This course allows students to become eligible to apply for the State license to become HHA certified.
The health careers program includes a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course to obtain the American Safety and Health Institute Certification valid for two years.
Arriba Juntos also offers Continuing EducationUnits (CEU) that are required for the CNA license renewal. The CE units are offered on Saturdays.
Our Health Careers courses are accredited by the California Department of Health Services and the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education.
